Szab\u00f3\u2019s tragic story began in Hungary and continued in Amsterdam, where she moved at 18. Just three months after giving birth, Szab\u00f3 was brutally murdered in her workroom, suffering multiple stab wounds. Despite extensive investigation, her case went cold, leading authorities to take this unique approach in hopes that new information would surface.<\/p>\n
“We aim to put a face to Betty to foster empathy and hopefully uncover leads,” stated Benjamin van Gogh of Amsterdam\u2019s Wanted and Missing Persons Team. Szab\u00f3\u2019s family supported this dignified initiative, and the police raised the reward to \u20ac30,000 ($32,160) for information on her killer.
