Since taking over in 2020, Sinclair has led the Ravens to back-to-back national titles, with the team boasting a perfect 22-0 record this season. Sinclair, a former Victoria standout, embraces the pressure of following in the footsteps of Dave Smart, the legendary men’s program head coach who led the team to 17 titles in 20 years.
Sinclair’s leadership is marked by a focus on team culture and relationships, key principles instilled by Smart during his tenure. Despite the high expectations, Sinclair remains committed to maintaining a humble approach, emphasizing the importance of hard work and continuous improvement. Third-year forward Jacqueline Urban has been pivotal to the team’s success, maintaining an undefeated record in her U Sports career and stepping into a leadership role following the departure of star Kali Pocrnic.
