Brett Gallant’s Stellar 2025 Season Continues with Strong Performance at Men’s Curling Worlds

Brett Gallant’s 2025 campaign has been relentless yet rewarding, marked by victories at the Canadian mixed doubles trials, a Grand Slam final appearance, and a Montana’s Brier title. Despite the demanding schedule, the 35-year-old has excelled in both disciplines, proving his endurance and skill.

Just days after clinching his fifth career Brier title, Gallant teamed up with his wife, Jocelyn Peterman, for the national mixed doubles playdowns. Following their playoff exit, he swiftly transitioned to the BKT World Men’s Curling Championship, where Canada, led by skip Brad Jacobs, has started with an impressive 3-0 record. Gallant has maintained a remarkable 91.7% shooting accuracy, showcasing his consistency.

Jacobs and his Calgary-based squad, including Marc Kennedy and Ben Hebert, have displayed confidence and synergy, positioning themselves as strong contenders for the podium. Gallant, a world champion in 2017, aims to repeat his success, bolstered by his team’s unwavering support.

With a packed schedule ahead, Gallant and Team Jacobs will compete in the Grand Slam season finale before he and Peterman fight for an Olympic berth at the world mixed doubles playdowns in late April. Should Canada qualify, Gallant could become one of the first Canadian curlers to compete in both mixed doubles and four-player events at the 2026 Milan Olympics.
