Billy Joel has postponed eight concert dates, including his scheduled performance at Toronto’s Rogers Centre this Saturday, citing a medical condition.
The 75-year-old singer-songwriter and pianist announced on Instagram that his tour will be delayed for four months to allow him time to recover from surgery and undergo physical therapy under medical supervision. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Joel’s Toronto concert has been rescheduled for March 14, 2026, at the Rogers Centre.
“While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first. I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding,” Joel stated in his post.
The tour will resume at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on July 5, 2025.
All tickets purchased for the original Toronto date will remain valid for the rescheduled performance in 2026.
Joel’s breakout hit, Piano Man, first entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1974.
