Alexis Ohanian’s VC Firm Raises New $225M Fund

Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit and prominent tech investor, has recently announced the successful raise of a new $225 million fund for his venture capital firm, Seven Seven Six. This marks the second fund for the firm, which was launched in 2020 with a focus on early-stage investments in technology companies.

About Seven Seven Six

Seven Seven Six, named after the year of the first Olympic games, is a venture capital firm that aims to support and invest in innovative and disruptive startups. Ohanian founded the firm with the belief that “entrepreneurship is a fundamental human right” and that everyone should have the opportunity to turn their ideas into successful businesses.

The firm’s first fund, which closed at $150 million, has already made investments in companies such as Ro, a telehealth startup, and Nuggs, a plant-based chicken nugget company. With the success of this first fund, Ohanian and his team are excited to continue their mission of supporting and empowering entrepreneurs with their new $225 million fund.
