Alaska Airlines Unveils Enchanting Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer in Collaboration with Disneyland Resort

Alaska Airlines has partnered with Disneyland Resort to introduce its newest themed aircraft, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer, inviting guests to embrace adventure and dream big. The vibrant new livery, unveiled at Portland International Airport, was inspired by the beloved Disney movie “The Princess and the Frog” and the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction at Disneyland Park in Anaheim.

The Boeing 737-800 aircraft features an intricate exterior design showcasing Princess Tiana and celebrating her entrepreneurial spirit. The detailed artwork, which took over 2,000 hours to complete, includes joyful depictions of Louis the Alligator among water lilies, a trail of friendly fireflies extending from the plane’s nose to tail, and Mama Odie and Prince Naveen on the winglets. Guests on board will also enjoy the special Tiana’s Bayou Adventure snack pack, available for purchase starting this summer.

“Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer embodies the magic and wonder of travel,” said Eric Edge, vice president of brand and marketing at Alaska Airlines. “It reflects Princess Tiana’s love for exploration and adventure, encouraging our guests to create memorable experiences.”

This marks Alaska Airlines’ ninth Disneyland Resort-themed aircraft and its first featuring a Disney Princess. The Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer (tail number N596AS) will fly across Alaska Airlines’ route network for the next several years, offering an enchanting journey for all passengers.

“For more than 25 years, Alaska Airlines and Disneyland Resort have brought magic to the skies,” said Sybil Crum, vice president of marketing and commercial strategy at Disneyland Resort. “With Disneyland Resort celebrating its 70th anniversary, this collaboration honors our legacy and looks forward to a bright future with Princess Tiana leading the way.”

The Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer arrives just in time for the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, which kicks off May 16, 2025, and runs through summer 2026. This milestone celebration will feature limited-time entertainment, themed food, décor, and more, as guests celebrate seven decades of joy and memories at Disneyland Resort. Alaska Airlines continues to be a premier carrier for passengers visiting Southern California.

The new livery joins Alaska Airlines’ collection of Disneyland Resort-themed aircraft, including the “Mickey’s Toontown Express,” “Star Wars Transport to the Disneyland Resort,” and “Friendship and Beyond at Disneyland Resort,” all celebrating iconic Disney characters and attractions.
