Air Transat, named the World’s Best Leisure Airline in 2024 by Skytrax, is expanding its international network for winter 2025-2026 with two new routes. The airline will introduce non-stop service between Montreal and Guadalajara, Mexico, and extend its service between Montreal and Madrid, Spain, into the winter season.
Starting December 13, 2025, travelers can fly twice weekly to Guadalajara, a cultural hub known for mariachi, tequila, and vibrant cuisine. This route caters to both the Quebec Mexican community and those seeking a unique Mexican destination. Additionally, starting February 18, 2026, Air Transat will offer year-round flights to Madrid, extending its summer service with two flights per week.
Sebastian Ponce, Chief Revenue Officer, stated, “These new routes reflect our commitment to diversifying our network and meeting growing demand.” The airline also benefits from its joint venture with Porter Airlines, which enhances connectivity across Canada.
