Air Canada has launched nonstop service between Montréal–Trudeau International Airport and Naples-Capodichino International Airport, expanding its Italian network this summer. Operating four weekly flights on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the new route complements Air Canada’s existing services to Rome, Milan, and Venice. With a block time of just over eight hours from Montreal to Naples, the airline aims to capture the growing Canadian tourist demand for Southern Italy.
Canadian Ambassador to Italy, Elissa Golberg, praised the route as a key connection strengthening bilateral ties in business, culture, and innovation. Mark Galardo, Air Canada’s EVP & Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the appeal of Naples as a gateway to attractions like the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii.
Air Canada now operates 39 weekly flights between Canada and Italy, offering more than 13,000 weekly seats. Italian Ambassador to Canada, Alessandro Cattaneo, welcomed the addition, noting Naples’ upcoming role as host of the 2027 America’s Cup sailing competition.
The Montreal-Naples route will operate through October 24, 2025, serving Economy, Premium Economy, and Signature Class passengers aboard the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
