President Bola Tinubu has presided over the meeting of the National Council of State.
The meeting which held at the Council Chamber of the State House Abuja had in attendance former presidents Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari.
The Council of State, chaired by the president and vice president, includes all living former Heads of State and Presidents, former Chief Justices of Nigeria and the incumbent, the Senate President, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, all state governors, and the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF).
This is the first National Council of State meeting since President Tinubu assumed office in May 2023.
