Montreal-Trudeau Airport is expanding its international and U.S. connectivity with the addition of a new Air Canada route to Naples, Italy, and the reinstatement of service to Cincinnati, Ohio.
Air Canada began its seasonal Montreal-Naples service on May 17, 2025, using a 737 Dreamliner. Operating four times weekly through October 25, the route adds to the airline’s growing Italian portfolio, which already includes direct flights to Rome, Milan, and Venice. With Naples, Air Canada now offers up to 39 weekly flights and over 13,000 seats from Canada to Italy.
Canadian Ambassador to Italy Elissa Golberg praised the launch, calling it a vital connection to strengthen partnerships between the two nations across multiple sectors, including business and culture.
Meanwhile, Air Canada is reintroducing direct flights from Montreal to Cincinnati/North Kentucky (CVG), marking its return to the Queen City. The airline becomes the only carrier offering nonstop service between the two cities. This daily flight complements Air Canada’s existing twice-daily service from Toronto to Cincinnati.
