Porter Airlines has introduced the only non-stop air service between Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Victoria International Airport (YYJ), enhancing connectivity between Canada’s capital cities. The new route began with four weekly roundtrips and will increase to daily service starting June 16.
The flights are operated with Porter’s 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, offering a comfortable two-by-two seat configuration that eliminates middle seats. Departure from Ottawa is scheduled at 8:40 a.m., arriving in Victoria at 11:00 a.m., while return flights depart Victoria at 11:55 a.m. and land in Ottawa at 7:40 p.m.
Porter marks the route launch with special airport promotions in partnership with Fairmont Empress in Victoria and Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa. Passengers on inaugural flights can enter to win a roundtrip getaway and a two-night stay at one of the landmark hotels.
