Delta Air Lines is set to launch two Saturday-only winter routes from New York this December, targeting ski travelers with new nonstop services from JFK to Eagle County Regional Airport (Colorado) and from LaGuardia to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (Montana). The JFK–EGE route will be operated by a Boeing 757-200, while the LGA–BZN service will use an Airbus A319, offering access to premier ski destinations like Vail and Big Sky.
This move is part of Delta’s broader winter 2025-26 network strategy, which includes 14 new domestic routes, with a heavy focus on premium leisure corridors. Seven new seasonal Saturday-only flights will originate from Orlando, competing directly with Spirit and Southwest in markets such as Columbus, Grand Rapids, and Nashville. Additionally, Delta will re-enter the Austin–Palm Springs route in November 2025, capturing demand between two affluent metro areas.
Delta is also rolling out its largest college football flight schedule, with over 40 special weekend flights supporting marquee games. Unlike competitors scaling back amid economic headwinds, Delta is strategically targeting high-yield and underserved markets to strengthen its premium leisure position.
