Luke Littler delivered a spectacular nine-dart finish en route to securing another Premier League Darts nightly victory, defeating Michael van Gerwen 6-4 in Cardiff. Littler’s moment of brilliance came in the fourth leg, electrifying the crowd as he achieved the perfect leg with back-to-back 180s and a T20, T17, D15 finish.
This marks Littler’s first nine-darter in the 2025 Premier League, adding to those by Luke Humphries and Rob Cross earlier in the season. The 18-year-old phenom also extended his lead at the top of the table with 21 points, six ahead of Humphries in second place.
Van Gerwen, now third with 13 points, battled hard but could not overcome Littler’s dominance. The rising star also claimed wins over Nathan Aspinall and Rob Cross en route to the final, sealing his third nightly triumph of the season.
The Premier League moves to Newcastle for Night Eight on March 27, where Littler will face Stephen Bunting.
