Anne Murray to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award at 2025 Junos

Canadian music icon Anne Murray will be honored with a lifetime achievement award at this year’s Juno Awards, marking the first time an artist has received the distinction since its inception in 1989, when Pierre Juneau was the inaugural recipient.

At 79, Murray holds a record 25 Juno Awards, though The Weeknd is quickly closing in with 21 wins and four nominations this year.

The Junos also announced that Joel and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte will induct Sum 41 into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, while Jessie Reyez will present Toronto producer Boi-1da with the international achievement award.

The 2025 Juno Awards will air live on March 30 from Vancouver’s Rogers Arena, with Michael Bublé returning as host for the third time.

Newly announced performers include Punjabi-Canadian pioneer Jazzy B, Gminxr, and rapper bbno$. Maestro Fresh Wes, last year’s Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee, will also perform, alongside Inuk singer Elisapie and Quebecois artist Roxane Bruneau, who will join Bublé for a duet. Previously announced performers include Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Palestinian-Canadian singer Nemahsis, and country star Josh Ross, who leads nominations alongside pop sensation Tate McRae.
