According to Ottawa paramedics, the collision occurred around 7:25 a.m. and involved the bus and two pickup trucks. One pickup truck driver was transported to the hospital in critical condition, while the other truck driver and a passenger were hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
The school bus driver did not require hospitalization, paramedics confirmed.
Police have closed Mitch Owens Road between Bowesville and Manotick Station roads. The crash site is located approximately seven kilometers south of Ottawa International Airport and 20 kilometers from Parliament Hill.
