“This is a potential wake-up call that smaller companies can move faster,” said Robert Brooks IV, vice president of revenue at Lambda. “When AWS and Google Cloud build data centers, they account for a broad spectrum of use cases unrelated to AI. That’s not what AI companies need.” While Lambda has no involvement in the Stargate project, Brooks emphasized the growing relevance of specialized cloud solutions in the AI era.
