World Travel Awards (WTA) has officially announced Cancún, Mexico, as the host city for its Latin America Ceremony 2025. This vibrant destination will welcome prominent travel and tourism leaders to a red-carpet event on 27 September. The announcement came during a VIP signing in Madrid, organized by the Secretaría Municipal de Turismo Cancún, coinciding with the FITUR International Tourism Trade Fair 2025.
This marks WTA’s debut in Cancún, reflecting the city’s thriving travel and tourism sector. Nestled on the Caribbean coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, Cancún offers a stunning mix of pristine beaches, historical landmarks, cultural richness, and diverse activities, making it the ideal location for such a prestigious event.
