President Joe Biden is set to deliver his farewell address to the nation on Wednesday, January 17, marking the conclusion of his four-year tenure as the 46th president of the United States. But we came together as Americans and braved through it. We emerged stronger, more prosperous, and more secure.”

“America is an idea stronger than any army and larger than any ocean. It’s the most powerful idea in the history of the world—that we are all created equal, endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We’ve never fully lived up to this sacred idea, but we’ve never walked away from it either. And I do not believe the American people will walk away from it now.”
Biden will officially leave office on January 20, when President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States.

After defeating Trump in the contentious 2020 election, Biden initially planned to seek re-election. However, mounting concerns about his age and mental acuity led to his decision to step aside. Vice President Kamala Harris emerged as the Democratic Party’s nominee, but she ultimately lost to Trump, who secured all seven key battleground states in a decisive victory.
